Our clinic is taking an important step towards the inclusion of patients with disabilities by setting up a "disability referent".
The aim of this initiative is to make it easier for every patient, whatever their disability, to receive high-quality care in an environment that is accessible and respects their specific needs.
After obtaining the patient's consent, the Disability Advisor will be involved throughout the care process, whether as an inpatient or outpatient. The target population for this scheme is people of all ages, for whom specific needs must be taken into account. Whether they are children, adults or the elderly, the clinic is committed to offering inclusive care that respects the diversity of needs.
The Disability Advisor has a number of tasks:
- Facilitating the stay or consultation of people with disabilities by proposing accessibility, orientation and comfort solutions.
- Facilitating communication between patients, clinic professionals and others involved in the care process.
