After working with the hospital teams, new measures have also been taken in the operating theatre to reduce our production of Waste from Healthcare Activities involving Risk of Infection (WEEE)!
This substantial reduction has enabled us to significantly reduce the tonnage of our HIW (-40%) and its incineration, which is a pollutant!
We are continuing to explore solutions and implement more environmentally-friendly practices.
A small step for the block, but a big impact on the environment!
